Multicultural Child Care Centre
St Ives Chase Kindergarten is a licensed multicultural Centre catering for up to 40 children aged between 2.5 - 6 years for 2-5 days per week. We provide a welcoming, safe and stimulating environment where children can become active learners, exploring and learning through a wide variety of experiences and activities each day. We have wide, open spaces that encourage the children to explore and discover on their own terms. Our curriculum lays the foundation for students to develop core competencies focused on collaboration, creativity, communication, and critical thinking. Parents and children are welcome to visit the Centre before your child’s first day so that they can become familiar with our staff and premises. You can book a centre tour to have full insight into the surroundings your child will be spending time in, as well as to gain a better perspective of everything our kindergarten is about.
St Ives Childcare Centre
St Ives Chase Kindergarten provides a varied program for all children based on the children's interests, observations and family input. The kindergarten's program incorporates the Emergent Curriculum and the Early Years Learning Framework. At St Ives preschool we encourage family input into the program and believe in creating a strong link between the home and the kindergarten. The adaptation process takes some time, and it depends on the child. We guide each parent through this process individually. St Ives Chase Kindergarten has been assessed under the current National Quality Standards, which guarantees your children will only get the best education.
Our program is run by experienced and qualified Early Childhood Educators. Our educators provide a safe, caring, happy environment that inspires pre-schoolers' natural curiosity, and instils self-assurance in their innate abilities. At our preschool, children will be fully prepared for their first years at school. On top of that, they will become confident involved learners, effective communicators with a strong sense of identity and wellbeing.
St Ives Child Care Standards
At St Ives, child care is the top priority and always adheres only to the highest standards. Nutritionally balanced afternoon tea is provided by the Centre to the children that attend Long Day Care, so you won’t have to worry about your child feeling hungry before arriving home. They’ll have a nutritional snack to keep their tummies happy and brains working well. We cater for children with allergies and dietary requirements and encourage children’s healthy eating and physical activity using a range of fun, play-based learning experiences in consultation with the Munch & Move NSW Health initiative that supports the healthy development of children from birth to 5 years.
