Open since 1991, St Ives Chase Kindergarten is a licensed Long Day Care Centre open from 7am to 6pm, catering for up to 40 children aged between 2.5 - 6 years for 2 to 5 days per week, 50 weeks per year. We at St Ives preschool kindergarten aim to provide a welcoming, safe and stimulating environment where children can become active learners, explore, and learn through a wide variety of experiences and activities, day by day. Our school's mission is to offer your child the most comprehensive learning experience possible in a safe and warm learning environment.

Our childcare centre provides a varied program for all children based on the children's interests, observations and family input. The kindergarten's program incorporates the Emergent Curriculum and the Early Years Learning Framework. At St Ives preschool we encourage family input into the program and believe in creating a strong link between the home and the kindergarten. The adaptation process takes some time, and it depends on the child. We guide each parent through this process individually. St Ives Chase Kindergarten has been assessed under the current National Quality Standards, which guarantees your children will only get the best education.

We have 2 classrooms in the Centre, and each room is run by experienced and qualified Early Childhood Educators.

Eikoh Seminar Australia, which comprises of West Ryde Long Day Care Centre, Normanhurst Child Care Centre, St Ives Chase Kindergarten and Roseville Kindergarten is committed to the effective implementation of our Child Safe Policy and the NSW Child Safe Standards, ensuring that the policy is appropriately reviewed and updated. As Early Childhood Education and Care services we are committed to ensuring that the children in our care are protected and their rights are respected and valued. Our aim is to ensure that all children feel safe, secure and supported within our learning environments and that educators are aware of their obligations and responsibilities in relation to child safety, ensuring that we provide a child safe environment for the children in which they are able to confidently express themselves and feel respected and listened to.

Preschool St Ives

At preschool St Ives, children are actively engaged in all the activities. We aim at providing the children with projects which challenge and stimulate imagination and creativity. A full spectrum of hands-on daily activities is designed to promote each child's physical, creative, cognitive, social, and emotional growth. As a result, the kids will have more authentic learning outcomes. Your children will always be under the watchful eye of our exceptional teachers so you can have peace of mind.

Our students are the main focus of everything we do. When children feel heard, seen, and valued, they can give maximum results. That's precisely why we nurture love as one of our core values. Eikoh Child Care Centre App

Our Centre uses a secure mobile-based portfolio platform specifically designed for our Centre and the families that are enrolled.

The App was built in-conjunction with OWNA Corp Pty Ltd (CAN: 613 387 474).

It aims to ensure your child receives the best support possible and that you are involved and up-to-date with your child’s development. It will help educators, children and families:

- Improve understanding of each child’s interests and abilities.
- Deepen relationships and strengthen communication.
- Share videos, photos and text capturing children’s learning and development.
- Create a portfolio of your child’s learning that travels with your child and can be accessed by you.
- Reinforce experiences and deepen children’s learning.
- Capture family culture and heritage.
- Involve the children in the creation of their portfolio.
- Interact quickly and effectively through iPhone, Android and tablets.
- Create smooth transitions.
- Our Centre’s customized App allows you to see your child’s activities at any time.

Educators share photos, videos, stories and reflections in real time. Parents can read and respond to posts, upload photos and stay updated on announcements and diary dates. Only families with children enrolled in the Centre will have access. The App can be accessed via an iOS (Apple) or Android enabled device.

The Eikoh Child Care Centre App provides a secure environment that improves communication. Collaboration between parents and educators is at the heart of our service and we understand that we can improve with increased engagement between parents and educators. Learning is visible so when everyone is on the same page, the outcomes for the children can only be positive

Inclusion Support Program

St Ives Chase Kindergarten receives support from the NSW/ACT Inclusion Agency. It is an initiative of the Inclusion Support Programme, funded by the Australian Government and managed by KU Children’s Services in partnership with Include Me and Gowrie NSW. The Inclusion Support Programme supports our educators with the inclusion of all children, including those with additional needs.
